This is the school in Arkansas where President Dwight D. Eisenhower had to send the 101st Airborne Division (the "Screaming Eagles") of the U.S. Army in 1957 to suppress mobs and enforce the 1954 U.S. Supreme Court Decision on Brown v. Board of Education that segregated schools were unconstitutional. The "Little Rock Nine" were the brave young boys and girls at the center of that struggle.
